I have been a professional educator in School District Five of Lexington & Richland Counties over 20 years. I have worked in the education and technology field for almost 33 years. Before coming to District Five, I was a Regional Technology Education Associate with the Department of Education. I also worked part time as a technology instructor for Midlands Technical College where I earned an Adjunct of the Year award.
Teaching and learning have been part of my world for the past 33 years. I earned an Associate’s degree from Midlands Technical College in Computer Technology, a Bachelor’s degree from the University of South Carolina in Information Technology, and a Master’s in Education from Columbia College.
I work in the Instruction Department as a Curriculum Specialist. As part of my responsibilities, I provide technology workshops, trainings and professional development opportunities for District PK-12 Educators.
